Refund policy
Returns
You have 30 days from the day your piece arrives to decide whether it's right for you. If it isn't, simply write to us to begin a return — once it's approved, we'll send a prepaid return label along with everything you need to send it back. A gentle note: pieces returned without first arranging it with us can't be accepted.
Whatever comes home to us should be unused and in its original condition, just as it left. To start, get in touch and we'll take care of the rest.
A word on restocking
Every SlowObjet piece is born of a slow, deliberate process, made to be lived with for years. We understand that, now and then, a piece simply doesn't settle into its new home the way you'd hoped. We're glad to accept returns on eligible items — we keep a 20% fee to cover the careful work of receiving each one and finding it a new home.
If something isn't right
Please look over your order as soon as it arrives, and tell us straight away if anything is damaged, defective, or not what you ordered. We'll look into it and make it right — that part matters to us.
A few things we can't take back
Some pieces can't be returned, by their nature: perishables (food, flowers, plants), custom or personalised orders, and personal-care goods (such as beauty products). For safety, we also can't accept hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. And we're unable to take back sale items or gift cards. If you're ever unsure about a particular piece, just ask.
Exchanges
The surest way to land on the piece you truly want is to return the one you have and — once the return is accepted — place a fresh order for the new one.
For our friends in the European Union
If your order is heading into the EU, you have the right to cancel it within 14 days, for any reason and without explanation. However, once shipped, it can no longer be cancelled or returned.
Refunds
Once your return reaches us and we've looked it over, we'll let you know whether the refund has been approved. If it has, we'll return the amount to your original payment method within 10 business days. Do bear in mind that banks and card companies take their own time to post a refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your return and you're still waiting, write to us at info@slowobjet.com and we'll chase it down.
