Francesco Guardi's Capriccio with a Ruined Gothic Arch — an invented Venetian scene, a crumbling Gothic arch above still lagoon water, sketched with the flickering, silvery touch that sets Guardi apart. Woven into a soft, reversible throw, its airy melancholy suits a quiet room. A warm layer to draw over your knees on the sofa on a grey afternoon, and a piece of art to display, folded over the reading chair.

  • Jacquard-woven, double-sided and reversible; finished with fringed edges
  • Soft, cosy cotton-blend — a warm layer and a piece of art at once
  • Machine washable; made to order

Gift that landed perfectly

The sepia is exactly what showed on my monitor, which almost never happens.

ordering another one soon

The tracking updated at every step and it landed a day ahead of the estimate. A Guardi at this price seemed too good to be true, and A Capriccio with a Ruined Gothic Arch proved me wrong. My only regret is not ordering it a year ago.

Gift that landed perfectly

This is the rare thing that looks better in my house than it did on the website. For anyone choosing between Guardi pieces, A Capriccio with a Ruined Gothic Arch is the one to get. Our county road kicks up red clay dust and this still looks as clean as the day it came.

Almost perfect

I paid more than I usually would and I am mostly glad I did. For a Guardi at this price, A Capriccio with a Ruined Gothic Arch holds up well. The price matches what actually arrived.
