We put money aside for a few months to buy this and I would do it again tomorrow. Ordering this meant seeing The Loire every single morning, which was the whole point. Two people have taken a photo of it to send to someone else. Everything about the fit in the dining room came out right on the first try…
I have bought a lot of things online that looked better on a screen, and this was the opposite. Visitors notice The Loire before they notice the furniture. There was no letdown anywhere in this.
I measured twice and still ended up wishing I had gone one size larger. I get more comments about The Loire than about anything else we own.
I bought this for my first apartment and it made the place feel like mine. Scale was my worry, and The Loire got exactly the room it needed at this size. The total at checkout matched the quote exactly, with no surprise charges. The box was waiting in the vestibule when I got home and nobody on the block touched it. This is coming with us to the next house.
We are so pleased. If you ever want help pairing it with something else, just ask. - Customer Care
Two of us carried the box in expecting the worst and everything inside was perfectly protected. I have seen The Loire in books for twenty years and this is the first version that felt right.
