Good buy, one gripe

My home office is small and this still worked, though it is close to the limit. The version of Head of a Girl here beats the one I nearly bought elsewhere. It cost about thirty dollars more than a similar option elsewhere. Solid purchase, all things considered.

Better than the photos

Two of us carried the box in expecting the worst and everything inside was perfectly protected. I have wanted a good version of Head of a Girl in this house for years. Well worth the money.

Best purchase this year

My neighbor saw it through the window and ordered one that night. This was my first van Dyck in the house, and Head of a Girl has more than earned its spot. For what we paid, I expected to compromise somewhere, and I did not. Do yourself a favor and get one.

The photos are close, though the real thing reads a little softer. The tones in Head of a Girl lean warmer than the van Dyck I have seen at the museum. Recommend it if you are not in a hurry.
