Delacroix's Four Sketches of Arab Men — a page of quick, vivid studies of robed figures drawn from his travels in North Africa, each caught in a few warm, assured strokes. Woven into a cosy reversible throw, those lively studies settle indoors: a warm layer to gather over you on the sofa, and a piece of art in its own right when it hangs, folded, over an armchair or the foot of the bed.
