Goya's Friar Pedro Clubs El Maragato with the Butt of the Gun — another moment from his spare, urgent series on the friar and the captured bandit, the action set down in quick strokes against an almost empty ground. Woven into a soft, reversible throw, that raw energy softens into warm colour and texture. A warm layer to draw over your knees on the sofa, and a piece of art to leave folded over the foot of the bed.
