Degas's Landscape with Smokestacks, woven soft — a hazy stretch of country with distant chimneys dissolving into the atmosphere, the whole scene blurred and dreamlike in the way of Degas's monotype landscapes. It feels half-remembered, seen from a passing train. As a cushion that soft, smoky calm settles into a room: a piece for the sofa or the foot of the bed, plush and textural — atmospheric and quiet to live against.

Jacquard-woven on both sides in soft, durable yarn
Plush and textural — insert included
For the sofa, a bed or a reading chair

In Good Company

Shipping was slower than the estimate, though the item itself is very good. For a Degas at this price, Landscape with Smokestacks holds up well. The dimensions are accurate, though it reads smaller than I imagined. I emailed twice before I got a shipping update, and then it moved quickly. It is not perfect, and I am still pleased.

Third order from this store

My husband walked past it and immediately asked where it came from. Visitors notice Landscape with Smokestacks before they notice the furniture. Buy it, you will not regret it.

Better in person.

The box arrived without a single dent, which impressed me before I even opened it. I grew up with Landscape with Smokestacks on a calendar in my grandmother's kitchen and this is a far better version. The colors are richer in daylight than they looked on my laptop. Genuinely one of the best things I have bought online.
