This showed up three days after I ordered it and I have not stopped looking at it since. A Poussin at this price seemed too good to be true, and Plague of Ashdod proved me wrong.
I have ordered from four stores this year and this was the only one with no issues. The texture in Plague of Ashdod is visible from across the room. Genuinely one of the best things I have bought online.

This was a fortieth birthday present for my wife and she teared up a little. My husband could not name a Poussin painting before this, and now he points Plague of Ashdod out to guests. My sister ordered the same thing for her place a week later. It photographs beautifully, and I send pictures to my mother constantly. Summers here run humid from May through September and nothing about it has sagged or warped.
Everything about this lands at okay, which is not what I paid for. Scale on Plague of Ashdod works, and the finish does not. It survived a move from Seattle to Boise in the back of a pickup. I would hesitate before spending here again.
The photos on the site are honest, which is more than I can say for most places. Colors across Plague of Ashdod are deep and even, right out to the edges. Order it, you will thank me.
