This was a fortieth birthday present for my wife and she teared up a little. My husband could not name a Gauguin painting before this, and now he points The Ancestors of Tehamana out to guests. You have a repeat customer in me.
We put the poster in the home office the night it came and the space finally makes sense. The paper stock on the poster is heavier than I expected and sits perfectly flat. It is exactly what I was picturing.
Great to read, thank you. We are glad it landed in the right spot. - Customer Care
Our family room had been half finished for a year and this was the piece that closed it out. Nobody walks past The Ancestors of Tehamana without stopping. Already deciding where the next one goes.
This showed up three days after I ordered it and I have not stopped looking at it since. For anyone choosing between Gauguin pieces, The Ancestors of Tehamana is the one to get. Caring for the poster took about a minute using the instructions they included.
I was expecting to be a little disappointed and I was not, not even slightly. I grew up with The Ancestors of Tehamana on a calendar in my grandmother’s kitchen and this is a far better version. Caring for the poster took about a minute using the instructions they included. The return window was generous, and I never needed it. 😍
