The color is not quite what I pictured and I have made peace with that. There is a small area of The Fall of Phaeton where the definition drops off. The gripes are small enough that I will be back.
We put the pillow in the den the night it came and the space finally makes sense. Every figure in The Fall of Phaeton is sharp enough to pick out, which I did not expect from a Rubens at this price. Buy it, you will not regret it.
This was an expensive lesson in reading between the lines of a product page. The faces in The Fall of Phaeton are blurred to the point that the Rubens is unrecognizable.

We put money aside for a few months to buy this and I would do it again tomorrow. A Rubens at this price seemed too good to be true, and The Fall of Phaeton proved me wrong.
