I have bought a lot of things online that looked better on a screen, and this was the opposite. This was my first van Gogh in the house, and Pollards has more than earned its spot. It works with our old furniture and the newer pieces at the same time. Our 1960s split-level has low ceilings and this suits the scale. Recommending this to anyone who asks.
I was expecting to be a little disappointed and I was not, not even slightly. The blues in Pollards match what I remember from seeing the van Gogh in person.
My neighbor saw it through the window and ordered one that night. Colors across Pollards are deep and even, right out to the edges. It made the den look finished in a way new paint never did. The scale works exactly the way I measured it out beforehand.
This is the third thing I have ordered here and the quality has been consistent every time. I have seen Pollards in books for twenty years and this is the first version that felt right.
