The making

Woven as a jacquard tapestry from soft, durable yarns and finished by hand — made to drape and to last.

Materials & Care

Woven cotton-blend tapestry. Machine wash cold on gentle; tumble dry low or lay flat. Do not bleach.

Dimensions

See the size above. Woven by the piece, so expect small, characterful variation.

Shipping & Returns

Woven and shipped in about two weeks — roughly one week to make, one to deliver. Easy returns within 30 days.

Aelbert Cuyp's Spring Landscape carries the gentle golden light he is loved for — a wide Dutch view opening under a soft sky, the land easing into the warm colour of early in the year. Woven into a reversible throw, those honeyed greens and low horizons become a calm layer for the sofa or the foot of the bed. It drapes softly over your knees on a bright, slow morning, and rests like a small landscape when folded away.

  • Jacquard-woven, double-sided and reversible; finished with fringed edges
  • Soft, cosy cotton-blend — a warm layer and a piece of art at once
  • Machine washable; made to order

Nothing I would change

I ordered this on a whim during a sale and it turned out to be the best thing I bought all year. I have seen Spring Landscape in books for twenty years and this is the first version that felt right. Everything came double boxed with the corners padded. You will not find better at this price.

Ten out of ten.

Two of us carried the box in expecting the worst and everything inside was perfectly protected. Ordering this meant seeing Spring Landscape every single morning, which was the whole point. Radiator heat and drafty old windows have not done a thing to it since December.

Three stars, no more

The quality is fine for a chain store, and this is not a chain store price. Colors in Spring Landscape came out muted rather than rich.

Thank you for the feedback on the listing details. We are updating that page this week with clearer measurements. - Customer Care

ordering another one soon

Nothing about this felt like a gamble once I opened it. The blues in Spring Landscape match what I remember from seeing the Cuyp in person. We keep the thermostat down all winter and this makes the dining room feel warmer than it is. Full marks from this household.

Small size surprise

The description was accurate for the blanket we received, in a slightly lighter tone than the photos. Cropping is the one thing I would change about how Spring Landscape was handled.

I ordered this on a whim during a sale and it turned out to be the best thing I bought all year. The blues in Spring Landscape match what I remember from seeing the Cuyp in person. One full winter with the heat running and it looks brand new. Thank you for getting this so right.

We have had this a few months now and it has settled in well. This is my second Cuyp from this store and Spring Landscape is the better of the two. It earns its place in the hallway.

no notes, genuinely

We put the blanket in the upstairs hallway the night it came and the space finally makes sense. Ordering this meant seeing Spring Landscape every single morning, which was the whole point. It arrived the same week as a February nor'easter and came through without a mark. Full marks from this household.

Nothing about this felt like a gamble once I opened it. I have wanted a good version of Spring Landscape in this house for years.
