This is my honest middle-of-the-road review after a month of living with it. Seeing Landscape with the Pilgrim at Prayer in person after all this has been a little deflating. For roughly this money I have bought better elsewhere. There is a chemical smell that took about a week to fade. I wanted better and I got adequate.
Fair points, all of them. Reach out if you would like help finding a better fit, and we will hold onto your comments about the photos. - Nadia
Two of us carried the box in expecting the worst and everything inside was perfectly protected. This was my first Canaletto in the house, and Landscape with the Pilgrim at Prayer has more than earned its spot.
My mother in law asked about it within ten minutes of walking in. Buying a Canaletto online felt risky and Landscape with the Pilgrim at Prayer came out fine. It has grown on me since it arrived.
This was an expensive lesson in reading between the lines of a product page.

I had a question before ordering and the answer came back the next morning…
The tracking updated at every step and it landed a day ahead of the estimate. My daughter recognized Landscape with the Pilgrim at Prayer from a museum trip we took two summers ago. One full winter with the heat running and it looks brand new. It looks expensive next to things that cost twice as much.
So glad it landed well. We will pass this along to the crew who packed your order. - Nadia, Customer Care
My mom has been asking for the link since the day she saw it. The blues in Landscape with the Pilgrim at Prayer match what I remember from seeing the Canaletto in person. The weight of the pillow is substantial in a way the pictures cannot show. Order it, you will thank me.
My husband walked past it and immediately asked where it came from. My daughter recognized Landscape with the Pilgrim at Prayer from a museum trip we took two summers ago. I have zero notes.
This showed up three days after I ordered it and I have not stopped looking at it since. Nobody walks past Landscape with the Pilgrim at Prayer without stopping. Even my father in law said something, and he never says anything. It made the whole primary bedroom come together.
This is the rare thing that looks better in my house than it did on the website. My husband could not name a Canaletto painting before this, and now he points Landscape with the Pilgrim at Prayer out to guests. It survived a move from Seattle to Boise in the back of a pickup. Thank you for getting this so right.
