The making

Woven to order as a jacquard tapestry cushion, then finished and checked by hand before it ships.

Materials & Care

Woven cotton-blend cover with a soft fill. Spot-clean, or remove the cover and machine wash cold on gentle; lay flat to dry.

Dimensions

Choose your size above. Woven by the piece, so expect small, characterful variation.

Shipping & Returns

Woven and shipped in about two weeks — roughly one week to make, one to deliver. Easy returns within 30 days.

From Canaletto's Vedute etchings, Mestre takes in the quiet mainland town beyond Venice — boats along a canal, low towers and rooftops set down in fine, pale linework on near-white ground. Woven soft, that light, unhurried scene becomes gentle texture, ink turned to thread. A calm cushion for the window seat or the end of the sofa, its soft neutrals asking nothing of a room but to be lived alongside on an idle afternoon.

  • Jacquard-woven on both sides in soft, durable yarn
  • Plush and textural — insert included
  • For the sofa, a bed or a reading chair
  • Made to order, just for you

Third order from this store

The packaging alone told me these people care about what they ship. Visitors notice Mestre before they notice the furniture. The packing slip, the label and the contents all matched my order exactly. It got here ahead of the estimate and in perfect condition.

Arrived early, packed beautifully

The photos on the site are honest, which is more than I can say for most places. Money well spent, without question.

I bought this after two months of looking and I wish I had done it sooner. This was my first Canaletto in the house, and Mestre has more than earned its spot. Already deciding where the next one goes.

My favorite thing here

I bought this for my first apartment and it made the place feel like mine.

My husband noticed immediately

We put the pillow in the primary bedroom the night it came and the space finally makes sense.

Better in person.

Nothing about this felt like a gamble once I opened it.

Exactly what I wanted.

Two of us carried the box in expecting the worst and everything inside was perfectly protected. The texture in Mestre is visible from across the room. Two people have taken a photo of it to send to someone else. It made the whole primary bedroom come together.
