The making

Woven as a jacquard tapestry from soft, durable yarns and finished by hand — made to drape and to last.

Materials & Care

Woven cotton-blend tapestry. Machine wash cold on gentle; tumble dry low or lay flat. Do not bleach.

Dimensions

See the size above. Woven by the piece, so expect small, characterful variation.

Shipping & Returns

Woven and shipped in about two weeks — roughly one week to make, one to deliver. Easy returns within 30 days.

Canaletto's view of St. Paul's Cathedral — Wren's great dome rising over the London streets, painted with the same clear light and steady architecture Canaletto brought from Venice. Woven into a soft, double-sided throw, that measured calm settles a room. It becomes a warm layer to gather over your knees on the sofa, and a city view to display, folded across a reading chair or the end of the bed.

  • Jacquard-woven, double-sided and reversible; finished with fringed edges
  • Soft, cosy cotton-blend — a warm layer and a piece of art at once
  • Machine washable; made to order

This took almost three weeks to arrive, and once it did I stopped caring about the wait. Cropping is the one thing I would change about how St. 's Cathedral was handled. Good enough that I am considering a second one.

Best purchase this year

Our dining room had been half finished for a year and this was the piece that closed it out. A Canaletto at this price seemed too good to be true, and St. 's Cathedral proved me wrong.

Colors are dead on

The tracking updated at every step and it landed a day ahead of the estimate. A Canaletto at this price seemed too good to be true, and St. 's Cathedral proved me wrong.

My favorite thing here

I asked about dimensions before ordering and had a clear answer within the hour. For anyone choosing between Canaletto pieces, St. 's Cathedral is the one to get.

Ten out of ten.

Nothing about this felt like a gamble once I opened it. For anyone choosing between Canaletto pieces, St. 's Cathedral is the one to get. It is easily my favorite thing in the home office now.

Better in person.

This showed up three days after I ordered it and I have not stopped looking at it since. Ordering this meant seeing St. 's Cathedral every single morning, which was the whole point. The finish does not look like something off an assembly line. Caring for the blanket took about a minute using the instructions they included. You have a repeat customer in me.

Real quality for the price

We put the blanket in the home office the night it came and the space finally makes sense. The detail in St. 's Cathedral came through far better than I expected at this size. I have zero notes.
