Francesco Guardi's Capriccio with a Ruined Gothic Arch — a pointed arch of old tracery standing broken against the sky, ivy and small figures at its foot, warm light pooling through the gap. Woven soft, his flickering brushwork turns to soft texture. Lean it into the sofa or against the headboard — an evocative, romantic cushion to live beside, all faded grandeur and warm evening air, the beauty of a ruin left to dream by the water.

  • Jacquard-woven on both sides in soft, durable yarn
  • Plush and textural — insert included
  • For the sofa, a bed or a reading chair
  • Made to order, just for you

Glad we went with this

The deep blue came out a shade warmer than my screen showed, and it still works in the space. This is my second Guardi from this store and A Capriccio with a Ruined Gothic Arch is the better of the two. Recommend it if you are not in a hurry.

Third order from this store

My mom has been asking for the link since the day she saw it. Everything that makes A Capriccio with a Ruined Gothic Arch worth looking at is still there up close. Nothing has loosened, faded or worn since it arrived. It shipped the day after I ordered, with a real tracking number that worked. I am telling my whole book club about this store.

Gift that landed perfectly

The box arrived without a single dent, which impressed me before I even opened it. Our cabin outside Bend is bright all summer and this looks right in it.

Exactly what I wanted.

My mom has been asking for the link since the day she saw it. Everything came double boxed with the corners padded. Guests notice it within a minute of walking in. We are two hours from a decent store in this part of Georgia, so ordering online was the only option and it paid off.

Perfect scale for our nursery

I sent this to a friend for her new place and she called the minute it landed. Ordering this meant seeing A Capriccio with a Ruined Gothic Arch every single morning, which was the whole point. The total at checkout matched the quote exactly, with no surprise charges. 🙂

The color is not quite what I pictured and I have made peace with that. Colors in A Capriccio with a Ruined Gothic Arch are a little softer than the listing images. The seams on the pillow are tidy, with one small pucker I only found looking for it.
