My expectations were high after reading the other reviews, and this landed under them. There is a flatness to A Marine that the photos hide. The price is the main problem here, not the item itself.

I keep meaning to move it somewhere it looks better. Three months of Florida humidity and it already looks tired. Good in theory, average in practice.
The box was thin and the contents shifted the whole way here. Dark passages in A Marine have collapsed into one flat tone. The refund process took three separate messages. The replacement they sent had the same problem.
This showed up three days after I ordered it and I have not stopped looking at it since. Nobody walks past A Marine without stopping. Even my father in law said something, and he never says anything. It is exactly what I was picturing.
The photos on the site are honest, which is more than I can say for most places. Our building has four flights and no elevator, and the box came up without a scratch. Money well spent, without question.
