Seurat's Oil Sketch for La Grande Jatte is one of the small, quick studies he made on the island before the vast final canvas — the same shaded riverbank and Sunday strollers, but caught loosely, in broad dabs of green shadow and warm sunlight. There's a lovely freshness to a study like this: the idea still forming, the paint still breathing. It has the ease of a real afternoon by the water. On a sitting-room wall it stays gentle and open.

Real quality for the price

This is the rare thing that looks better in my house than it did on the website. I have wanted a good version of Oil Sketch for La Grande Jatte in this house for years. Already deciding where the next one goes.

Almost perfect

Customer service was polite and quick when I asked about the lead time. I looked at three sellers before choosing this Seurat, and Oil Sketch for La Grande Jatte was the right call. The color difference is small enough that only I notice it. I will look here first next time.

Colors are dead on

My mom has been asking for the link since the day she saw it. Scale was my worry, and Oil Sketch for La Grande Jatte got exactly the room it needed at this size. Guests notice it within a minute of walking in. There was no letdown anywhere in this.
