The making

Woven as a jacquard tapestry from soft, durable yarns and finished by hand — made to drape and to last.

Materials & Care

Woven cotton-blend tapestry. Machine wash cold on gentle; tumble dry low or lay flat. Do not bleach.

Dimensions

See the size above. Woven by the piece, so expect small, characterful variation.

Shipping & Returns

Woven and shipped in about two weeks — roughly one week to make, one to deliver. Easy returns within 30 days.

Tiepolo's Musician Angels — angels adrift among clouds with their instruments, painted in the pale, luminous colour and buoyant light of his Venetian ceilings. Woven into a soft, double-sided throw, that airy sweetness lifts a room. It becomes a warm layer to draw over your knees on the sofa, and a piece of art to display, folded over a reading chair where the eye can float up into it.

  • Jacquard-woven, double-sided and reversible; finished with fringed edges
  • Soft, cosy cotton-blend — a warm layer and a piece of art at once
  • Machine washable; made to order

Better in person.

The photos on the site are honest, which is more than I can say for most places. The tones in Musician Angels shift as the light changes through the day. Recommending this to anyone who asks.

Exactly what I wanted.

I bought this for my first apartment and it made the place feel like mine. The tones in Musician Angels shift as the light changes through the day. The veining across the blanket is dramatic without being busy. It shipped the day after I ordered, with a real tracking number that worked.

Third order from this store

I sent a question about care the day it arrived and got a real answer from a real person. Nobody walks past Musician Angels without stopping. Do yourself a favor and get one.

Better in person.

I sent a question about care the day it arrived and got a real answer from a real person. For anyone choosing between Tiepolo pieces, Musician Angels is the one to get. It handled a Tennessee summer of open windows and afternoon storms without any trouble. Thank you for getting this so right.

Real quality for the price

This cost less than the two other options I was weighing and it beat both of them. The texture in Musician Angels is visible from across the room. Full marks from this household.

Best purchase this year

I bought this for my first apartment and it made the place feel like mine. Visitors notice Musician Angels before they notice the furniture. It has exceeded what I hoped for.

Took three weeks to arrive

I measured twice and still ended up wishing I had gone one size larger. Cropping is the one thing I would change about how Musician Angels was handled. Would I order again, probably yes.

My husband noticed immediately

I ordered on a Sunday night and it was at my door Wednesday morning. There is real depth in Musician Angels that cheaper versions lose completely.

Recommend with one caveat

I ordered this for our mudroom and it does everything I wanted, with one small caveat. Anyone who knows Tiepolo will recognize Musician Angels from across the room.
