Tiepolo's The Meeting of Abraham and Melchizedek — the Old Testament encounter staged with Venetian grandeur, robed figures and offered bread and wine set against a luminous sky. Woven into a soft, reversible throw, its warm colour and open light settle richly into a room. A warm layer to gather over your knees on the sofa, and a piece of art to display, folded over the foot of the bed.

  • Jacquard-woven, double-sided and reversible; finished with fringed edges
  • Soft, cosy cotton-blend — a warm layer and a piece of art at once
  • Machine washable; made to order

Underwhelmed but not angry

The listing left out enough information that I ordered the wrong thing. The detail in The Meeting of Abraham and Melchizedek is softer than the close-ups on the listing. Right in the middle for me.

Thank you for the honest review. The shipping time you describe is longer than we quote and we are working on it, and if the color is still bothering you we will take it back at no cost to you. - the Slow Objet team

Made our mudroom

My mom has been asking for the link since the day she saw it. I have seen The Meeting of Abraham and Melchizedek in books for twenty years and this is the first version that felt right. It is exactly what I was picturing…

Four stars, no regrets

I would have given five stars if the delivery had not dragged on. Edges around The Meeting of Abraham and Melchizedek are slightly tighter than the listing image showed. The price matches what actually arrived…

Expensive but good

The soft gray came out a shade warmer than my screen showed, and it still works in the space. The darker parts of The Meeting of Abraham and Melchizedek lose a bit of detail under lamplight.

Ten out of ten.

This showed up three days after I ordered it and I have not stopped looking at it since. Visitors notice The Meeting of Abraham and Melchizedek before they notice the furniture.

Good buy, one gripe

I nearly canceled the order when it was late, and I am glad I did not. I get more comments about The Meeting of Abraham and Melchizedek than about anything else we own. It has made the kitchen noticeably better. 👌

Six months in, still perfect

I was expecting to be a little disappointed and I was not, not even slightly. I grew up with The Meeting of Abraham and Melchizedek on a calendar in my grandmother’s kitchen and this is a far better version. Genuinely one of the best things I have bought online.
