Whistler's Nocturne: Blue and Gold — Southampton Water dissolves the estuary at dusk into little more than tone — a low band of shore, still water, a boat resting, and a few gold lights breathing through the blue. He painted his nocturnes for mood rather than detail, and this one is all hush and atmosphere, the moment daylight gives way. Deeply calming in its restraint, it settles a bedroom or a sitting room, somewhere you want the evening to linger.

Printed to be lived with — giclée on archival gallery-grade paper, so the colour stays true for years.

Took three weeks to arrive

This is my second order here and the quality has been steady both times. Sizing information on the site could be more specific. Good enough that I am considering a second one.

Reviews like this keep us going. Thank you, and enjoy the finished basement. - Nadia, Customer Care
