The materials feel good and the finish is even, top to bottom. I get more comments about Susanna and the Elders than about anything else we own.
Everything about this order went right, from checkout to the moment I opened the box. Scale was my worry, and Susanna and the Elders got exactly the room it needed at this size. Already deciding where the next one goes. 🙂
Nothing about this felt like a gamble once I opened it. My daughter recognized Susanna and the Elders from a museum trip we took two summers ago.
The box arrived without a single dent, which impressed me before I even opened it. Ordering this meant seeing Susanna and the Elders every single morning, which was the whole point. I am telling my whole book club about this store.
The size is exactly what the listing said, down to the inch. My husband could not name a Rubens painting before this, and now he points Susanna and the Elders out to guests. Buy it, you will not regret it.
My husband walked past it and immediately asked where it came from. Everything that makes Susanna and the Elders worth looking at is still there up close. Everything came double boxed with the corners padded.
This showed up three days after I ordered it and I have not stopped looking at it since. I have seen Susanna and the Elders in books for twenty years and this is the first version that felt right. Sunlight hits it every afternoon and the color has not moved at all.
The box was well packed and everything inside was in perfect condition. The detail in Susanna and the Elders is good, though not as crisp as the close-up photos suggested.
Our breakfast nook had been half finished for a year and this was the piece that closed it out. I have zero notes.
Thank you, this made our week. Enjoy it, and let us know if you ever need anything. - the Slow Objet team
My neighbor saw it through the window and ordered one that night. My daughter recognized Susanna and the Elders from a museum trip we took two summers ago. We have moved it to three different rooms and it works in all of them. My sister ordered the same thing for her place a week later. Order it, you will thank me.
