Hiroshige's Lumberyards at Fukagawa frames a snowy timber district through the tall, pale stacks of cut wood themselves — a bold, almost modern composition that turns a working yard into something spare and beautiful. Snow lies along the beams, a little dog trots through, and a wash of grey sky sits above the canals. There is a plain, honest calm to it. In a study or a kitchen, it brings the quiet order of a winter's working day.

Made to last — giclée on archival, acid-free paper that keeps its greys soft and true.

  • Giclée print on smooth, acid-free 220gsm gallery-grade fine-art paper

Everyone asks where it is from

I have bought a lot of things online that looked better on a screen, and this was the opposite. Scale was my worry, and Lumberyards at Fukagawa got exactly the room it needed at this size. Recommending this to anyone who asks.

The photos on the site are honest, which is more than I can say for most places. My daughter recognized Lumberyards at Fukagawa from a museum trip we took two summers ago. Full marks from this household.

shipped fast, arrived flawless

Two of us carried the box in expecting the worst and everything inside was perfectly protected. Colors across Lumberyards at Fukagawa are deep and even, right out to the edges. Five stars, and easily earned.

We are thrilled. Thanks for trusting us with the order, and reach out any time. - Nadia

worth every dollar

My neighbor saw it through the window and ordered one that night. Visitors notice Lumberyards at Fukagawa before they notice the furniture. No complaints from me whatsoever.

Nice cream, longer wait

Shipping was slower than the estimate, though the item itself is very good. My friends recognized Lumberyards at Fukagawa immediately, which I enjoyed more than I expected. Quality control seems good, based on this order and the last one. It has made the dining room noticeably better.

The deep blue is perfect

I unwrapped this in the kitchen and my daughter asked if we could get another one. The tones in Lumberyards at Fukagawa shift as the light changes through the day.

Better than the photos

I bought this for my first apartment and it made the place feel like mine. Scale was my worry, and Lumberyards at Fukagawa got exactly the room it needed at this size. It photographs beautifully, and I send pictures to my mother constantly. Five months of gray Michigan sky and the sepia still reads warm. 👌

Better in person.

The photos on the site are honest, which is more than I can say for most places. The texture in Lumberyards at Fukagawa is visible from across the room.

Expensive but good

My wife is more taken with this than I am, and I am plenty happy. I wanted Lumberyards at Fukagawa for this spot for a long time and it mostly delivers. We had two weeks of smoke season with the windows shut and it did not hold the smell.

Third order from this store

This is the rare thing that looks better in my house than it did on the website. My husband could not name a Hiroshige painting before this, and now he points Lumberyards at Fukagawa out to guests. It shipped the day after I ordered, with a real tracking number that worked. The return window was generous, and I never needed it. You have a repeat customer in me.
