Hiroshige's New Year's Eve Foxfires at Oji steps into old folklore: on the last night of the year, foxes are said to gather beneath a great bare tree, each carrying a small ghostly flame, before processing to the shrine. He paints them in deep night-blue, the little fires flickering across a frosted field. It is strange and gentle at once, a piece of midwinter magic. On a dim hallway or study wall, it glows quietly after dark.

Everyone asks where it is from

This is the third thing I have ordered here and the quality has been consistent every time. ⭐

Solid quality, slow delivery

For the money I expected perfection and got something close to it. Seeing New Year’s Eve Foxfires at Oji every day has been the best part of this order. It works with what we already own, which was the main test.

Color is off

This is my honest middle-of-the-road review after a month of living with it. This is my third Hiroshige and New Year's Eve Foxfires at Oji is the weakest of them. It is okay, and I have stopped thinking about it.

Thank you for the review. Your comments about the wait have gone to the team who handles shipping. - the Slow Objet team

Exactly what I wanted.

The deep blue is exactly what showed on my monitor, which almost never happens. I will order from here again the moment I need something.

Great poster, great service

I have ordered from four stores this year and this was the only one with no issues. This was my first Hiroshige in the house, and New Year's Eve Foxfires at Oji has more than earned its spot. The weight of the poster is substantial in a way the pictures cannot show. Our house is all hard surfaces and big windows, and this softened the whole mudroom. Anyone hesitating should just place the order.

We are so pleased. If you ever want help pairing it with something else, just ask. - Customer Care

My favorite thing here

Everything about this order went right, from checkout to the moment I opened the box. A Hiroshige at this price seemed too good to be true, and New Year's Eve Foxfires at Oji proved me wrong.

Gift that landed perfectly

The box arrived without a single dent, which impressed me before I even opened it. The blues in New Year's Eve Foxfires at Oji match what I remember from seeing the Hiroshige in person. I compared it against three other stores and this was the best value by a wide margin. The box was waiting in the vestibule when I got home and nobody on the block touched it.

worth every dollar

We ordered the poster for the reading nook and ended up moving it somewhere everyone can see it. There is real depth in New Year's Eve Foxfires at Oji that cheaper versions lose completely. It has exceeded what I hoped for.

Worth it, but pricey

I ordered during a busy season, so I expected a wait, and I got one. I looked at three sellers before choosing this Hiroshige, and New Year's Eve Foxfires at Oji was the right call.

Took three weeks to arrive

I ordered this for our playroom and it does everything I wanted, with one small caveat. At four stars I would still say New Year's Eve Foxfires at Oji does what I hoped in this room. I am keeping it, which says enough.

Disappointed with this one

The whole experience made me wish I had ordered somewhere else. I ordered this for New Year's Eve Foxfires at Oji and what arrived barely resembles it. The refund process took three separate messages. Up close it is far worse than it looks from the doorway. A mildew smell showed up within a month, and we run a dehumidifier constantly.

shipped fast, arrived flawless

The sepia is exactly what showed on my monitor, which almost never happens. A Hiroshige at this price seemed too good to be true, and New Year’s Eve Foxfires at Oji proved me wrong.

beyond what I expected

The quality is obvious the second you get it out of the box. Standing six feet back, New Year's Eve Foxfires at Oji reads exactly the way it should. It has held up to two kids and a golden retriever without any complaints from me. It is easily my favorite thing in the finished basement now.

Reviews like this keep us going. Thank you, and enjoy the finished basement. - Nadia, Customer Care

Small size surprise

It looks great in daylight and a little flat under our lamps at night. Fitting it into the stairwell took some rearranging that I did not plan on. Delivery came with a real signature rather than a doorstep drop. No real regrets here.
